Save the Date! Lit & Luz Returns to Chicago October 26th - November 2nd

 

The 11th annual Lit & Luz Festival of Language, Literature, and Art—as featured in Publishers Weekly, Chicago Review of Books, Block Club Chicago, and more—takes place October 26 to November 2. This one-of-a-kind, cross-cultural, bilingual festival brings together writers and visual artists from Mexico and Chicago for a week-long series of public programming at venues throughout Chicago. 

Inspired by the media landscape of the presidential elections taking place in both countries this year, the theme of the festival is “Saturation/Saturación.” Participants will consider concepts such as intensity, combination, absorption, maximums, and limitations as they respond to the urgent political, social, and environmental issues confronting both countries.

The festival’s signature event—the Lit & Luz Live Magazine Show returns to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on Saturday, November 2nd!
