I'm performing a new solo piece this month as part of Make Out the Words, Curious Theatre Branch's evening in the 2026 Rhinoceros Theater Festival. The whole evening is inspired by the writing of our late, great managing director, Matt Rieger, and I would love for you to be there.

My piece is called Drowned Dicks, and it's part of the Iron Johns Reading Circle. It's about the aftermath of a flood in which a large collection of Moby-Dicks drowns in a basement.

The evening also includes 6:15am, South of Wilson by Charlotte Lastra, and Matt's own text, Make Out the Words, performed by Beau O'Reilly. Matt was a writer, a teacher, a coach, a defensive lineman, and technically a lawyer in the state of Ohio. Making this show has been a way for all of us to spend a little more time with him.
